If you have a special event coming up and want to be sure of the fit or style ahead of time, you can book an overnight postal try-on for 1-2 garments.

How To Book

  • Before you begin

    Do not book a postal try-on if it is less than 2 weeks before your event date, as this will not allow enough turnaround time with the courier. We have a size guide and sizing recommendations for each garment. You can also send an email for further assistance or add a Back Up dress to your booking.

  • Check

    Check the booking calendar to ensure the garment or garments are available for your event date.

  • Book

    On the online Booking Calendar select the 2 day Rental Period and book your start date as either a Tuesday or Wednesday.

    If there is no availability on these days then please do not try to book on another day. Bookings will be cancelled less a $5 payment processing fee.

    In the cart, add your event date in the "Order Special Instructions" so we can reserve the garment or garments for you.

  • Try-on and Return

    Try-on in the comfort of your own home and return the next day to a NZ Post counter by 12pm.

  • Get in Touch

    Let us know if you would like to book it in to receive your special discount.

The standard hire fee is charged when booking a try-on. Once the garment is returned correctly and you wish to book it in for your event, you will receive a discount code that will give you 70% OFF the hire fee.

If you DO NOT want to book the garment or garments for your event, you will be refunded 50% of the hire fee paid.

If you book 2 garments to try on and wish to go ahead with 1 for your event, you can choose either a refund or credit to the value of 50% of the hire fee paid for the garment you do not book. Credit is valid for 1 year.

Important Notes

Due to the longer turn around time, we are unable to send try-ons to rural addresses.

Dresses must be returned and scanned at a NZ Post counter on the Return Date (or the day after receiving) by no later than 12pm. Failure to do so will result in NO REFUND OR DISCOUNT/CREDIT being issued.

If any part of the tag has been removed, or the garment on return shows signs of having been worn to an event then NO REFUND OR DISCOUNT/CREDIT will be issued.

Guidelines

Some important guidelines when trying on;

  • Please try on the garments when freshly clean, and without any freshly applied tan, moisturisers, body oil etc.
  • Some garments need to be pulled over the head to get on/take off so it is best to try on without any makeup.
  • For many of the dresses it is easiest to have a second pair of hands to do the zipper or buttons up at the back of the dress.  If you are having difficulty doing the zipper/buttons up then please do not continue to try. This can result in damaging the garment.
  • If any garments require cleaning or repairs then you will be charged a fee, so please treat the garments with care.
